Current research projects

  • Neuromusuclar activation of vastus intermedius muscle during muscle contraction using surface EMG
  • Establishment of countermeasures during long duration space travel
  • Neuromuscular adaptation by unloading (e.g. spaceflight, bed rest, immobilization and unilateral lower limb unloading) in humans
  • Neuromuscular property and plasticity as a result of acute and chronic physical training
  • Coactivation pattern and neuroral linkage duirng muscle contraction among synergistic muscles
  • Knee surgery induced dysfunction and atrophy in skeletal muscles and rehabilitation
  • Plasticity of activation of neuromuscular compartments during exercise
