How to use the training room
The training room in Nagoya University is operating in a different system (NUTr) from other facilities.
Guidelines for Use of the Sports Facilities and Other Important Notices
The rules that must be obeyed when using the sports facilities are listed below in the “Use of Sports Facilities.” Before using the sports facilities, be sure to check these rules. Note that if these guidelines and notices are not obeyed, you may face penalties such as being banned from using the facilities.
How to deal with serious injuries or sudden illnesses
Higashiyama Campus
① If you are having trouble dealing with the situation, please contact the Health Administration Office and ask for instructions.

* The above are available from 8:30-17:00 on weekdays, but if they are unavailable or in the case of emergency, go to ②.
② Call an ambulance (taxi)
Ambulance: 119
Meitetsu Taxi: 052-331-2211/2222
“Please come to the Gymnasium (or sports field) of Nagoya University Higashiyama Campus.”
* The service gates to the Baseball Field/New Gymnasium, and the Athletic Field/Multi-Purpose Field are different. Be sure to state your location precisely because a loss of time will occur depending on where the ambulance arrives.
③ Contact the University
General Information (Security Guard Room): 052-789-2111
[If you called an ambulance] “We called an ambulance because someone is injured (ill), so please guide the ambulance.”
[If you called a taxi] Other than in the following exception, there is no need to contact General Information.
<Exception: If it happened in the Yamanoue area and walking to the gates is not possible> Call the above phone number and request “We called a taxi because someone is injured (ill), so please unlock the service gates.” Note that between 8:30-21:30, it may be quicker to make the request to the manager of the Training Camp Facility.
④ Transport / Report
Extracurricular Activities Section: 052-789-2164/2165
- When an ambulance arrives, during treatment, and during transportation to medical institutions, at least one person must accompany the injured person (for taxis as well).

The accompanying person should grasp the following:
- The injured person’s name, etc. (club, injured person’s name, School/Department, grade, gender, living arrangement (living at home or alone), cell phone number, and academic supervisor)
- A written description of the accident
- The name of the hospital taken to
- The injured person’s diagnosis results and condition
- After the injured person is finished being examined, report at once to the guardian of the injured person, the leader of the club, and the Extracurricular Activities Section.
⑤ Submit an Accident/Disaster Report
- Make an accident/disaster report
- Submit the report to the Extracurricular Activities Section
Daiko Campus
①Call an ambulance (taxi)
“Please come to the Gymnasium (or sports field) of Nagoya University Daiko Campus.”
② Contact a University staff member and let them know you called an ambulance (taxi).

③ Guide the vehicle
Wait at the parking lot, and guide the vehicle to the Gymnasium or sports field
④ Transport
Arrival of the ambulance, treatment, and transportation to medical institutions
At least one person must accompany the injured person in the vehicle (for taxis as well, if possible).
⑤ Report
The accompanying person should grasp the following and after the injured person is finished being examined, report at once to the guardian of the injured person, the Daiko Campus General Affairs Section (Security Guard), and the leader of the club:
- The injured person’s name, etc. (club, injured person’s name, School/Department, grade, gender, living arrangement (living at home or alone), cell phone number, and academic supervisor)
- A written description of the accident
- The name of the hospital taken to
- The injured person’s diagnosis results and condition
* If the injured person was transported to a hospital by a taxi and seen by a doctor, report to the Daiko Campus General Affairs Section (Security Guard) at a later date.
⑥ Submit an Accident/Disaster Report
- Make an accident/disaster report
